At Sensi Spa on Cas Abao Beach, the waves and sea breeze are part of your massage. Treatments take place in a beachside palapa, with aromatic oils and the sound of the water setting the pace. The name “Sensi” refers to the senses, a fitting choice for a place where so much of the experience comes from being right beside the sea.
Founder Corine Muijsson began working as a massage therapist in the Netherlands in 2005 and opened Sensi Spa in 2010. The team adapts each massage to the person on the table, combining techniques such as Swedish massage, deep tissue and pressure point work. You can ask for more attention on your shoulders or lower back, or spend the session on a full body relaxation massage.
The menu ranges from shorter back and neck treatments to a 90 minute body scrub and massage. Couples can book a massage beside each other, and the spa welcomes friends and family who want to share a session too. Sensi Spa is open throughout the year, so an appointment can become part of a beach day, with time on the sand before or afterwards.
