Fort Beeekenburg

Built in the 1700s to protect Caracas Bay, Fort Beekenburg is one of the best-preserved forts on the island. It still has its original stone walls and lookout points, and you can climb up for wide views over the bay and surrounding hills.
It’s an easy stop if you’re already exploring Caracasbaai or heading to the nearby Tugboat dive and snorkel site. The fort itself is simple and quiet, but that’s part of the charm you get a sense of Curaçao’s history while enjoying a spot that feels tucked away from the busier parts of the island.
