Grote Knip is a paradisiacal beach located on the quiet northwest coast of Curaçao, thirty-four kilometers north of the center of Willemstad. Grote Knip is also known as Grote Knip Beach, Kenepa Grandi, Playa Kenepa Grandi, Kenepa Beach or Playa Abou. To the south of Grote Knip is Kleine Knip and to the north is Playa Forti. It looks as if millions of years ago a giant with a gigantic pair of scissors cut into the rugged rocky coast of the city.
