Playa Gipy / Playa Guepi
This hidden beach is tiny and very secluded most of the time. Located off the beaten path and down a precarious cliff, it is un-marked and hard to find. If you do find it, it is very cinematic, especially early in the morning and late in the day. Plus, it’s total seclusion allows you to possibly capture some ‘artistic photos’ that you can’t always capture on other beaches.
Do be careful: the waves can be rough and unpredictable, with a tricky current, and hard rocks surrounding the cove. Many days we wouldn’t recommend it for swimming, but standing in the waves can create great photo ops. And YES, this beach has a lot of local nicknames that we can’t list here.
