Playa Jeremi
This beach is a picturesque and secluded cove with pristine clear water and sand that is curiously mixed with volcanic ash. Jeremi lacks facilities and shade, which is why it tends not to be crowded, but it’s a peaceful spot for solitude and natural beauty. Pack up some food and drinks, towels, and a beach umbrella for shade (or at the very least a good hat and sunglasses), and then it is a great spot for snorkeling. There is a very diverse marine ecosystem here and you may see yellow-headed jawfish, cornet fish, and even a ray or two. We like to come here later in the day when the sun isn’t as strong and stay for the sunsets, which can be stunning here.
