Quick Guide – Samsung Side-by-Side 1. Quick-access drink door (right door panel) • On the right fridge door, there is a small outer panel. • Press near the top front to pop it open, then grab drinks or condiments without opening the whole door. • Great for energy savings and late-night water runs. • Close gently until it clicks so the door alarm does not beep and cold air stays in. • Very tall items can prevent it from latching. 2. Water and ice • Choose Cubed or Crushed with the Ice Type button on the display. • Hold your glass against the paddle to dispense. 3. Door alarm and little things • A beep means a door or the drink panel is not fully closed. Press the panel closed or close the main door firmly.

1. Turn On & Cook 1. Turn the left knob to choose a cooking mode: o 3D Hot Air (fan symbol) – good for most baking & roasting. o Top & Bottom Heat – for pizzas, casseroles. o Grill – for toasting or browning. 2. Turn the right knob to set a temperature (°C). 3. Place your food inside, close the door – oven will heat up and cook. 2. Set a Timer (Optional) • Press the clock/timer button, set minutes with + / −. • Oven will beep when time is up. 3. Turn Off • When finished, turn both knobs back to “0” (off position). • Cooling fan may run for a few minutes – this is normal. 4. Safety Tips • Always use oven mitts – surfaces get very hot. • Do not cover vents or place items on top of the oven. • Let the oven cool before wiping inside.

Microwave (everyday reheating) i. Open the door and put food on the glass turntable in microwave-safe dish (no metal/foil). ii. Turn the left knob to the microwave symbol (looks like waves) iii. Choose power by pressing a wattage button: 600 W is a good default; 900 W for drinks/soups; 360 W for gentler heating. iv. Set time with the + / – buttons next to the display v. Press START (triangle icon) to begin. The clock counts down. Opening the door pauses; close and press START again to resume. vi. When it beeps, remove carefully (it’s hot) and stir/let stand briefly. Handy tips • Pierce skins (potatoes, sausages, tomatoes) and never heat sealed jars/eggs. • Don’t run without the turntable; keep metal items at least 2 cm from the interior walls. • Cancel/Reset: press and hold START ~4 seconds, then turn the left knob back to 0. 2. Safety • No metal/foil in microwave mode; avoid tightly sealed containers (can explode). • Use oven gloves—dishes, racks, and the interior can be very hot.

Bosch induction glass-ceramic hob 1. Powering On & Off • To turn on the hob: Tap the main power symbol (often “⏻”). You’ll hear a beep and see the controls light up. • To turn off: Tap the same symbol. The display goes dark as all zones turn off. 2. Selecting & Adjusting Cooking Zones 1. Tap the zone icon you want to use. 2. Use the 0–9 slider to set the power level—slide toward higher number for more heat. o Some models show a PowerBoost option (“boost” symbol) for rapid heating if that zone is free. o If cookware isn’t detected, the level may blink and then shut off after a short while. 3. Residual Heat Indicator • After cooking, zones may display “H” (hot) or “h” (warm)—don’t touch until it goes off. 4. Automatic Safety Switch-Off • If a zone runs for a long time with no user input, it may shut off automatically. Press any button to reset and resume.

Bosch Dishwasher 1. Add detergent • Press the latch to open the small detergent flap on the inside of the door. • Drop one dishwasher tablet in flat on the left side and close the flap. • Important: never use sink dish soap—it foams like a bubble bath. 2. Choose a program (pick one and you’re done) • AUTO (45–65°): Best everyday choice. Typical time: ~2–3 hours. • ECO (50°): Great to run overnight—quiet and efficient. ~3–4 hours. • INTENSIVE (70°): For pots, pans, or really dirty dishes. • QUICK / 60 min: Lightly soiled dishes when you’re in a hurry 3. Start the wash • Close the door firmly until it clicks. • Press START. A light or time will appear—then it may pause for a minute while it figures things out. That’s normal. • If you open the door mid-cycle, close it and press START again to resume. 4. When it’s finished • You’ll see “End” or 0:00. Open the door a crack for 5–10 minutes to let steam out. • Unload the bottom rack first so water from the top rack doesn’t drip onto clean plates.

Washer 1. Load & Add Detergent • Open the door and loosely load clothes — do not pack tight (max ~¾ full). • Pull out the detergent drawer and add detergent to the largest compartment (LEFT) • Softener: Optional, in the compartment with the flower symbol. 2. Choose a Program Turn the dial to one of these easy programs: • Cotton (default): Everyday wash for towels, bedding, most clothes. • Eco 40–60: Energy-efficient for mixed cottons, lightly soiled. • Delicates: For lingerie or thin fabrics. • Mixed Load: Good all-rounder if you have a mix of fabrics. • Spin / Drain: If you just need to spin water out. 3. Adjust Settings (Optional) • Temperature: Lower for colours, higher for whites/towels. • Spin Speed: High = drier clothes, low = gentler on fabrics. 4. Start the Wash • Close the door firmly. Press Start / Pause. • The display shows remaining time 5. When Finished • Remove clothes promptly, leave the door slightly open for an hour to keep the drum fresh. Dryer 1. Prepare Clothes • Shake out wet laundry and clean the lint filter (inside door) before each load. 2. Choose a Program Turn the dial to select: • Cupboard Dry (kastdroog): For most everyday loads — fully dry, ready to fold. • Iron Dry: Leaves clothes slightly damp for easier ironing. • Delicates: Gentle for synthetic fabrics. • Mixed / Timed Dry: For small mixed loads or to add extra drying time. 3. Start Drying • Close the door, press Start / Pause. Display shows time remaining. 4. After Each Cycle • Remove clothes promptly to avoid wrinkles. • Empty the water container at top left • Clean the lint filter every few uses
