There is always a delicious vegan pasta in rotation, and if you are into meat, we would suggest the seared skirt steak. You can meet here for a Coffee, a Drink, a Snack, a Meal everything is open game and everyone of note in town wouldn’t meet up here, all day long, if the fare wasn’t consistently fine. Sit on this amazing Restaurant balcony and breathe in some fresh wind from the sea, while overlooking the Queen Emma floating foot-traffic bridge with its glowing lights and iconic colorful buildings across the bay. It’s a very large venue, with a wide variety of culinary treats and old-school faves, all prepared with confidence and consistency. Try Chef Jeroen’s famous Cuban banana soup, charcoal cooked proteins...and don't miss out on their own 'Gouverneur' beer. There is a great Bar area where the Bartenders shake and stir high-end Cocktails with style. Such a great Staff here that we think rock. TIP: Try to get a table on the balcony to enjoy the ‘Punda Vibes Fireworks’ on a Thursday night!

A family style Mexican Restaurant with a fun fiesta flair. They have everything you would expect to find on a Mexican menu like Burritos, Tacos, Nachos, Quesadillas, Fajitas...and a lot of things you wouldn’t expect to find, like Vegetarian versions of all those classics, plus Burgers, Truffle Pasta, Caribbean Sea Bass, etc. Located just off Mambo Beach, this is a popular venue to visit during a day at the beach or the Sea Aquarium and Dolphin Swim. There is a kinetic energy inside and out, making it a great casual Date Night Spot, and they also have super long tables for large groups or family dinners. Order some Tequila shots or a Margarita and get into the spirit of Mexico, served up here.

It’s a Restaurant & Bar, located a short drive outside Willemstad. They have a huge menu - 150 menu items - but who’s counting? What we love is that it has one of the largest lists of Vegan and Vegetarian items on the Island - so Bravo! They also have a good wine selection. The Air conditioning is normally turned high, which makes for a cool escape on a hot day. The venue is often booked for Events and can accommodate a large party at long tables, with ample parking. Sometimes things seem to be running on ‘Island Time’, so relax and order one of the Bartender’s great Mojitos.

This restaurant is a favorite of ours, and of many people on the Island. It is a cozy venue, hidden away on the popular enclave of Nieuwestraat in Pietermaai. Ginger specializes in delicious Carib-Asian-Indian fusion Cuisine. They have a delectable selection of Hot & Spicy Food, Noodles & Rice Plates, Curries, Stews and a good number of Vegetarian and Vegan options. Reservations are available online until 7pm the same day.

This Restaurant has great hours (7am - 11pm and open for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner) and has a wide variety of high-end food on their menu, as well as a lot of popular comfort food. Located in a centuries-old plantation house right on the Blue Bay Golf course, they have a spectacular view across the fairways and greens to the ocean beyond. The staff is very friendly and helpful. This is a popular 19th hole for Golfers, but you certainly don’t have to like golf to enjoy this venue, it’s great.

Kick off your shoes and dance the night away to their famous Live Latin Music ‘Salsa Night Thursdays’ when the party spills right into this popular street. You should definitely put this on your ‘must visit’ list. Tip: You can take some great Instagram shots here in one of their throne seats or on the little balcony on the second floor.

This is another one of our favorite restaurant / bars on the Island that we love to recommend. In a blue building across the street from the Avila Hotel you will find this eatery that has a wonderfully dark dining area and a rooftop deck cinematically strung with hanging lights. Both areas are great, and it just depends on your mood, but this venue is very popular so book ahead. And it is popular because of the menu of Asian/Thai Fusion tapas sized meals that are truly inspired culinary dishes that we can’t stop coming back for - and we bet, neither will you. The menu changes, but every time it does, everything on it is absolutely stellar and there is something for everyone, including the Vegetarians and Vegans in our crowd. Not only is the food inspired - the bartenders are cocktail magicians, conjuring up some of the best and unique flavor profiles. We love to let them suggest something new to try...as nothing here has ever disappointed us - and we visit often.

This is one of those hidden gems that everyone on the Island should know about, and anyone visiting who likes Indian food should try. Even if you have never eaten Indian food, we think you’ll like it - our friends have all enjoyed this spot. It is located steps from Kura Hulanda on the top of the Curacao Suites Hotel. Go through the lobby and up two flights of stairs and you’ll come to a huge open patio restaurant with a wonderful view. The service is friendly and one of the staff can explain any of the menu items to you. Indian food, of course, is perfect for sharing, so this is a great place to take friends or family. We highly recommend it.
