This one is right out of a movie, with eye-catching visuals at every turn. Cabana is part of a beach club on Mambo Beach with huge palm trees, trendy restaurants, lounge chairs, and beach cabanas. It is a full-amenity operation, and there are different levels of rental, all the way up to VIP packages. It is popular day and night—and is close to the cruise port, which makes it an option for day-trippers. On certain nights of the week, Cabana is the place to be to party. There is a DJ and lots of dancing to the latest Latin hits. Check our Events section for the latest update, but Wednesdays and Sundays are normally hopping here.

Situated outside the Corendon Mangrove Beach Resort, this small, semi-circular man-made beach offers a tranquil getaway. The beach is protected by a rock barrier that creates a safe lagoon for swimming. Lounge chairs and umbrellas are provided by the hotel, making it a comfortable spot to unwind. The beach features the Flamingo Beach Bar and two restaurants, offering a complete day out with food and entertainment.
Kokomo Beach

Kokomo Beach

This beach is famous for the ‘Kokomo’ swings that have made it a favorite Instagram destination. The beach is set up for parties and good times, with a really relaxed vibe. It’s a popular spot for travelers and locals, offering full beach comfort amenities, lots of water activities, a fully equipped restaurant and bar, and it’s close to Willemstad. This beach tends to attract a younger, hipper crowd that aren’t afraid to flaunt their stuff, and rumor is that this is the ‘Kokomo’ that The Beach Boys paid tribute to in their 1988 hit song. Where Kokomo really excels is at hosting big live music events. The Full Moon concerts can really pack in a crowd around the outdoor stage, with general admission and VIP ticketing. There is no other beach on the Island like Mambo. It just has an urban yet tropical vibe, as it offers visitors attractions from thatched tiki beach umbrellas to a lively shopping mall. Mambo is family-friendly with shallow waters and full convenience facilities. With a wide choice of beach bars, restaurants, and shops it’s a great spot to explore for adults and teens. You can even stroll with a cocktail in hand. There is plenty of parking and being close to Willemstad makes it accessible for cruise ship passengers. The Seaquarium is an absolute must-visit, so check out their page on their site for details on dolphins, the Aquarium, and submarine adventures. You can even get a Tattoo to remember the trip! At night Mambo can become quite the party zone, especially near the DJ booth at Wet and Wild (Sunday is a big night there).

Located on the western side of Curaçao between the villages of Westpunt and Lagun, Playa Kleine Knip is a picturesque beach known for its clear, warm, and calm waters. This small, intimate bay offers excellent snorkeling opportunities, with a rich variety of marine life and a nearby coral reef. Visitors often spot sea turtles and manta rays while snorkeling here. Despite its modest facilities, including parking right next to the beach, Playa Kleine Knip's natural beauty and underwater wonders make it a must-visit spot on the island.
Playa Lagun

Playa Lagun

Nestled between horseshoe cliffs clustered with chic, sea-facing villas, Playa Lagun is a hidden gem for snorkelers, swimmers, and Instagramers. The colorful Fishing Boats bring in the fresh catch of the day for the restaurant, and their boats look great in photos. The tropical fish tend to stick to either side of the bay, with the big third rock on the left being our fave place to snorkel to watch the marine show. If you are lucky you will see the small school of about 15 Cuttlefish that move and change colors in perfect unison: it’s totally magical. Occasionally you can see a turtle, sea snakes, lionfish, or puffer fish. The Bahia Bar & Restaurant is probably the best place on the Island to photograph huge Iguanas, and they will take food from your hand; if you want to win the Iguanas over 100%, bring some cherries with you. Discover Lagun is another fun Restaurant with some truly eclectic, unusual, and tasty dishes on the menu. The Bahia Dive Shop is a good place to rent or buy equipment (masks, snorkels, sunscreen, etc.) and they lead great dive expeditions with an experienced team. This is totally a favorite beach for the Otra family; we always take our visiting friends.

Playa Parasasa

Playa Parasasa

This is the starting point for a very popular paved and lit bike-and-foot path along the water. It is used by locals and travelers who discover it. Over the past year it has had many upgrades with areas added in for picnics and BBQs. It has also become very popular for bootcamp-style workout training and there are quite a few popular fitness classes here. Along this route are important historical landmarks to observe, and also some great local fresh fish restaurants. They have unpredictable hours, but if you see one open, go in; you will not find fresher seafood anywhere. The beach parking lot is very often the location of big music events or parties. The area is also popular for weddings, meetings, family events, and impromptu parties.
Playa Porto Mari

With its soft white coral sand and crystal-clear waters, it ranks among the top beaches on the island, especially for diving. Porto Mari has made a substantial effort to restore its double reef offshore where several Reef Ball clusters are in evidence for snorkelers and divers. The Dive shop team is ready to outfit you for snorkeling or diving deep. Yes, this is the beach with the famous instagram Pigs, although they may be found wallowing in a puddle in the parking lot, instead of on the sand where you might want them - can you blame them? While you are in the parking lot, you can find three nature trails that have their starting point there: the Seru Matteo Trail, the History Trail and the Bird Trail. You can walk or bike them. There’s a boat-shaped bar for cocktails, beer, sandwiches, ice cream, and tropical frozen delights. The beach is also available for events, so whether you're planning a wedding ceremony, private party, or underwater exploration, Playa Porto Mari is a top choice.
Santa Martha Bay

Santa Martha Bay

Santa Martha Bay is a serene spot near the village of Soto that is unlikely to be crowded. For divers, A small bouy marks where there lies the wreckage of a small airplane that mysteriously crashed and is now just a skeleton of metal covered in coral, surrounded by curious fish. You can also see some larger fish here, like tarpon or yellowfin tuna and the occasional hammerhead shark (Curacao has never had a shark attack). The Mushroom Forest of coral is also close by, and a fave spot for snorkelers is the Blue Room, which is a fantastic spot for Instagram photos.
